\nHe said this while joining a protest rally and a huge mass procession organized from Paltan intersection to Jamuna on Thursday (November 6), where an order was issued to implement the July National Charter and a memorandum of eight parties with 5-point demands, including a referendum in November, was submitted to the chief advisor.
\nTaher gave a stern warning to the government, adding, \u2018No warning; hold a referendum straight, straight. Don\u2019t cheat. If you cheat, our movement will also expand.\u2019 He said, \u2018If you are afraid of the people\u2019s verdict, it will not work. A referendum is the demand of the nation today. We are peacefully expressing our demands, but if the government ignores it, this movement will spread to every district, upazila and union of the country.\u2019
