A different political discussion and criticism has started in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election in Kurigram-4 constituency. The focus of the discussion is on two brothers. One is BNP candidate Azizur Rahman and the other is Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mostafizur Rahman Mostaq. Azizur Rahman, officially nominated by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), will contest the election with a sheaf symbol. On the other hand, his younger brother Mostafizur Rahman Mostaq will contest the field as a candidate of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami with a scale symbol.

There are a total of 3 lakh 38 thousand 412 voters in this constituency. Out of these, 1 lakh 68 thousand 711 are male voters and 1 lakh 69 thousand 692 are female voters.
