Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin said, \u2018Bangladesh is standing at a critical moment. Which direction we will go as a nation, how we will walk on the path of democracy as a country, everything depends on the next election.\u2019
\nHe said these words after inspecting the Ansar-VDP election training today, Monday (November 3). Addressing the Ansar and VDP members, he said, \u2018Apart from being members of the force, we are citizens of this country. We also have a civic responsibility.\u2019
\nThe CEC said, \u2018I am the Chief Election Commissioner. Apart from that, I am a citizen of Bangladesh. As a citizen, I also have a responsibility. What kind of Bangladesh will I leave behind, will I leave behind a democratic Bangladesh, how will I leave behind it \u2013 this thought always worries me. We did not take it as a regular responsibility, I did not take it personally, I did not take it as a job. I took it as a mission, a challenge.\u2019
