He said that Irene Akhter Pia, wife of the late Abul Kalam Azad, will now be appointed as a computer operator. She will be promoted as an officer after completing her honorarium.
\nEarlier, last Sunday (October 26), pedestrian Abul Kalam Azad (35) died after a bearing pad fell from a pillar in front of the Bangladesh Krishibid Institute adjacent to the capital’s Farmgate Metro Station and hit his head.
\nMuhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan, Advisor to the Ministry of Road Transport, Bridges and Railways, announced the formation of a five-member committee to investigate the incident.
