National Citizens Committee (NCP) convener Nahid Islam said, \u2018There is no possibility of forming an alliance with an anti-reform or historically responsible political party.\u2019 He said these things while attending the interview program of NCP divisional candidates on Tuesday (October 28) afternoon.
\nThe NCP convener said, \u2018We have not decided to join any alliance so far. If any decision has to be taken, it has to come from a principled place. If someone stands against reforms, stands against the new desire for independence and sovereignty that has been created in Bangladesh, then we will have to think many times before joining an alliance with such a force or with a very responsible force in history. We are a new political force, the people have a lot of expectations from us and we also want to stand with our own independence.\u2019
\nRegarding the signing of the July Charter, Nahid Islam said, \u2018We are waiting for the signing of the July Charter. There will be a referendum to implement the mandate of the July Charter. Dr. Yunus will sign this order through a referendum. The President cannot sign this order. This order will be contradictory in light of the existing constitution. If any dissent is expressed, we will not sign it.\u2019
\nCommenting on the conspiracy surrounding the election, Nahid said, \u2018Fascist forces are conspiring around the election. Awami League and foreign forces will try to sabotage the election. 14 parties are trying to rehabilitate the Awami League.\u2019 Regarding the 13th National Parliament election, he further said, \u2018There will be no caretaker government in the previous system. The election will be led by Dr. Yunus.\u2019
\nRegarding the Shapla symbol, the NCP convener said, \u2018The Shapla symbol is not being given to the NCP to disrupt the election and political activities. The issue of not giving the Shapla is the arbitrariness of the Election Commission. They are working by force.
