Roads and Railways Advisor Fawzul Kabir Khan said, “The family of the person who died due to the removal of the Metrorail’s bearing pad will be given Tk 5 lakh as compensation initially. \nThe Roads and Railways Advisor said, “Metrorail will take all the responsibilities of the deceased’s family. Initially, the family of the deceased will be given Tk 5 lakh as compensation. Later, if there is a working member in the deceased’s family, he will be given a job in Metrorail. I will meet the injured at the hospital a little later and take necessary measures for their treatment.”
\nHe also said, “A 5-member investigation committee has been formed with Bridges Department Secretary Mohammad Abdur Rouf as the convener. The committee will submit its investigation report within the next two weeks.\u2019
