\nThe Roads and Railways Advisor said, “Metrorail will take all the responsibilities of the deceased’s family. Initially, the family of the deceased will be given Tk 5 lakh as compensation. Later, if there is a working member in the deceased’s family, he will be given a job in Metrorail. I will meet the injured at the hospital a little later and take necessary measures for their treatment.”
\nHe also said, “A 5-member investigation committee has been formed with Bridges Department Secretary Mohammad Abdur Rouf as the convener. The committee will submit its investigation report within the next two weeks.\u2019
\nIt is worth noting that a young man named Abul Kalam died after being hit by a metro rail bearing pad in the capital\u2019s Farmgate area. The accident occurred around 12:30 pm.
