Three passengers of a van were killed after being hit by a truck in Bangabaria area of \u200b\u200bPabna. It is learnt that two students studying in class 5 are among the deceased. However, their identities have not been confirmed yet.
\nThe accident took place in Bangabaria area of \u200b\u200bPabna Sadar upazila today (October 26). Traffic on the Dhaka-Pabna highway was closed at the time.
\nPolice and witnesses said that a van with two students was standing at the spot around 7 am. At that time, a food truck speeding from Pabna lost control and hit the van. Two students including the van driver were crushed under the truck and died on the spot.
\nUpon receiving the information, the fire service reached the spot and brought traffic under control. Highway Police OC Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter and told us that the bodies have been recovered. Although the killer truck has been seized, the driver has fled.
