\nHe said, the party has been assured that the government is working impartially. The Legal Advisor said these things at the Secretariat this Wednesday (October 22) afternoon.
\nAsif Nazrul said, there is no doubt about the next National Assembly elections, but some confusion is being created due to the statements of political parties. However, I think when we see real progress in the implementation of the July Charter, all doubts related to this will be cleared very quickly. The government is trying to restore that trust.
\nHe also said, in view of BNP’s objections to transfers and appointments in public administration, the Chief Advisor will look into the matter himself. All parties are complaining that there are party people in the administration – this means this government is impartial.
\nRegarding the 15 army officers, the legal advisor said, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to keep the army officers accused of disappearance and murder in sub-jails. The trial process that is going on in the tribunal and the respect shown to the army is very commendable. Where the accused will be kept is entirely the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs. They will do whatever they deem appropriate.
