\nHowever, the most surprising and amazing news is that the new bride is the woman whom Abu Bakr divorced 23 years ago as a reward for his deep love and affection.

\nAfter his recent release under the prisoner exchange deal, Akram Abu Bakr remarried his ex-wife in a small ceremony in Cairo.
\nHe himself divorced his wife 23 years ago so that she would not have to live a miserable life as a prisoner’s wife.
\nBut the woman did not forget her husband; she spent 23 years of her life with steadfast love, hoping for his return. When Akram Abu Bakr was finally released, she went to Cairo to welcome him.
\nAkram Abu Bakr, a resident of Tulkarm, Palestine, was deported to Egypt from an Israeli prison after his release. At the age of 50, he saw his faithful wife in Cairo and immediately decided to remarry her.
