\nThis is what Abdullah Abu Rafe, a man who was released from an Israeli prison yesterday, Monday (October 13), said.
\nHe added, \u2018The conditions in Israeli prisons are very terrible. There are no mattresses, they took the mattresses that were there. The food is also deplorable. Everything is very difficult there.\u2019
\nAbout the feeling of being released, Rafe said, \u2018It is an extraordinary feeling.\u2019
\nYassin Abu Amara, another released Palestinian, described the conditions in Israeli prisons as \u2018very, very bad.\u2019
\nHe said, \u2018The food, the torture, the beatings\u2014everything was terrible. There was no food or water. I didn\u2019t eat anything for four days straight. Here I was given two sweets, I ate them.\u2019
\nAnother prisoner, Saeed Shubair, who was released last Monday, said he could not express his feelings in words.
\nIn his words, \u2018This feeling is indescribable. It is an indescribable feeling to see the sun without being a prisoner. My hands are free now. Freedom has no price – it is priceless.\u2019 According to the report, last Monday Israel released about 250 Palestinians who were serving life and long prison sentences. In addition, about 1,718 people detained during the Gaza war were released. The United Nations has listed them as \u2018enforced disappearances.\u2019<\/p>\n
