A youth named Russell Khan (35) has not been found even after 44 hours after he went missing after jumping into the Tentulia River while being chased by a naval police speedboat in Bauphal, Patuakhali. Meanwhile, the rescue operation by divers of the naval police and fire service is continuing.
\nThe incident took place at around 6 pm last Saturday (October 11) in the Kachua-Dalima River Point area of \u200b\u200bNazirpur Union of the upazila.
\nThe missing Russell Khan is the son of Yusuf Khan of Baradalima village in Ward No. 8 of Nazirpur Union of the upazila. He is a tailor by profession and has a business establishment in the local Baradalima Setu area. He is survived by a wife, a son and a daughter.
\nAccording to local sources, there is a government ban on catching hilsa. Taking this opportunity, Russell went to buy hilsa at a low price in the Tentulia River with three friends named neighbors Rakib, Hasan and Mahbub. At that time, a speedboat of the naval police chased them to save the mother hilsa. At that time, Russell jumped into the river in fear and has been missing since then.
