A court has ordered to send Apurba Pal, a student of the capital’s North South University, to jail on charges of insulting the Quran.
\nThe Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saifuzzaman’s court issued the order today (October 5) Sunday.
\nThe investigation officer of the case told the court that the accused student had confessed to trampling on the Quran. Later, the court granted his request to be detained in jail.
