Four members of the same family were killed in a Russian drone strike overnight in Ukraine\u2019s north-eastern Sumy region on Tuesday (September 30), Ukraine said.
\n\u201cTonight, the enemy launched an attack on a residential building in the Krasnopilya community of the village of Chernechchina,\u201d Oleg Grigorov, head of the regional military administration, wrote on Telegram. He added that rescuers had recovered the bodies of a six- and four-year-old boy and his parents from under the rubble.
\nHe described the incident as a terrible and irreparable loss for the entire community and the region.
\nMeanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that it had \u201cdestroyed and repelled\u201d 81 drones sent by Ukraine overnight.
