Argentine Ambassador to Dhaka Marcelo Carlos Sessa paid a courtesy call on Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman.
\nThe meeting was held at the Jamaat Ameer’s office in Bashundhara, the capital, at 9 am today, Tuesday (September 30).
\nAt the beginning of the meeting, Argentine Ambassador Dr. Shafiqur Rahman inquired about his health and wished him a full recovery.
\nThe Publicity Department of Jamaat-e-Islami said that the meeting was held in a very sincere and cordial atmosphere. During the meeting, they discussed the overall situation in Bangladesh, bilateral relations and investment between Bangladesh and Argentina, international relations, as well as issues of mutual interest. Argentina will continue to support Bangladesh in the future. At the same time, they expressed hope that Argentine investment in Bangladesh will increase further in the future.
