\nBoth teams have started their Super Four mission with defeats in the tournament. Sri Lanka entered the Super Four with three consecutive wins in the group stage. However, Sri Lanka lost to Bangladesh by 4 wickets in the first match. And despite losing to India in the group stage, Pakistan entered the Super Four by winning against the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
