A brother killed another brother over a land dispute in Chunarughat, Habiganj. The incident took place on Sunday (September 21) night in the Khamarbari area of \u200b\u200bGhargaon village of the upazila.
\nThe deceased has been identified as Shafiq Mia (35). He is the son of the deceased Sayeed Ali of the village.
\nAccording to local sources, Shafiq Mia and his brothers had been having a land dispute for a long time. As a result, his other brothers attacked Shafiq Mia with sharp weapons last Sunday night. Locals tried to rescue him in a serious condition and take him to the hospital, but he died on the way.
