All undergraduate level and term exams of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) have been postponed. This information was given in an emergency notification signed by BUET Registrar Professor Dr. N. M. Golam Zakaria on Wednesday (August 27). It said that considering the current situation, all undergraduate level and term exams to be held from August 30 to September 18 have been postponed. A decision regarding the undergraduate level exams will be taken later through discussions in the Academic Council. It is worth noting that B.Sc. engineers from various universities in the country, including BUET, have launched a three-point movement demanding that diploma engineers not be allowed to use the word engineer before their names.
