Police have recovered the body of a man named Rubel (30) from a park in Rangunia, Chittagong. The body was recovered from Khuroshia Ecopark at around 2:30 am on Wednesday (August 27). Rangunia Circle ASP Belayet Hossain said that the South Rangunia Police recovered Rubel’s body from Khuroshia Ecopark at around 2:30 am last night. Several injuries and signs of violence were found on the body. It is believed that he was hacked to death with a country-made weapon. He also said that Rubel has 7-8 cases against him. He is a top terrorist in the region and had been creating terror in the area for a long time. A post-mortem report has been prepared on the body. It is being sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
