BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan has said that the people of Bangladesh are eager to vote in February. He said this while paying homage at the tomb of former President Ziaur Rahman on the occasion of the 33rd founding anniversary of the Nationalist Freedom Fighters’ Party on Monday (August 25). Dr. Moin said that the Election Commission has already announced the possible date of the national election. This will fulfill the people’s expectations of voting. He said that the people of Bangladesh can regain democracy only through a fair and impartial election. Election is the only means of selecting 300 representatives of their choice. He also said that the Awami League failed to play a proper role in the Liberation War. They fled at that time. Ziaur Rahman declared independence.
