A six-down (local) train running between Chapainawabganj and Iswardi left one coach derailed in Rajshahi. The coach was recovered after about four hours. A coach of the train derailed at Rajshahi Railway Station at around 10 am on Sunday (August 24). Later, the train left for Ishwardi at 11:40 am leaving one coach. It is learned that trains on the Chapainawabganj route operate on lines 6 and 7 of Rajshahi Railway Station. The coach of this local train derailed on line 7. Although the train service between Rajshahi and Chapainawabganj was not stopped due to the derailment of the train, the coach remained lying for four hours. After a long effort, railway workers were able to recover the derailed coach. Finally, train service on this route returned to normal in full swing. In this regard, Rajshahi Railway Station Manager Shahidul Islam said, a coach of the Ishwardi-bound local six-down train that left Chapainawabganj in the morning derailed at Rajshahi station. Although the coach derailed at around 10 am, the train left one coach and departed for Ishwardi at 11:40 am. The coach was then recovered at 1:50 pm.
