At least 20 people were injured when a passenger bus fell into a ditch in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj. The accident occurred in the Pona area of \u200b\u200bthe Dhaka-Khulna highway in the upazila on Saturday (August 23) morning. The highway police said that the bus was heading towards Dhaka from Satkhira on Saturday morning. On the way, the driver lost control of the bus when it reached the Pona area. Later, the bus hit a tree on the side of the road and fell into the ditch. At least 20 passengers in the bus were injured. The police said that after receiving the information about the accident, police and fire service personnel went to the spot and rescued the injured. 10 of them, who were seriously injured, have been admitted to the hospital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
