A team of RAB 14 has arrested three people with 49 kg of marijuana from Jamuna Setu Highway in Kalihati, Tangail. They were arrested after searching a truck around 2:30 am on Monday (August 18). The truck was also seized. The arrested are Aminul, Babu and Mojahid. Major Kawsar Badhon, commander of RAB 14 (CPC-3), confirmed this information. The company commander said that based on secret information, it was learned that a truck loaded with cotton from Habiganj was carrying drugs towards North Bengal. Based on this, they were arrested during a drive on Jamuna Setu Highway in Kalihati Upazila. At that time, 49 kg of marijuana in the truck was recovered and three people were arrested.
