The fifth day of testimony against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and three others in the July-August crimes against humanity case is today. The testimony is scheduled to be taken at the tribunal headed by International Crimes Tribunal-1 Chairman Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumder on Monday (August 18). This morning, former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, who was an accused and turned into a state witness, was produced before the tribunal. Earlier, on August 17, the fourth day of testimony and interrogation ended. Abdus Samad, who was shot during the July movement, testified today. Then another person named Mizan testified. A student named Naeem Sikder from Khulna testified as the 8th witness in the tribunal. At the same time, the mother of Shaheed Sajjad Hossain Sajal, a student who survived the burning of 6 bodies in Ashulia during the July-August movement, testified.
