Environment Advisor Syeda Rizwana Hasan made this comment at a briefing at the Secretariat on Sunday (August 17) afternoon. The advisor said that the government is considering everything and has decided the election date after discussing with the political parties. Regarding the NCP’s statement that elections will not be held in February, Advisor Rizwana said that everyone speaks from their own political position. The government does not act on anyone’s words. She further commented that elections will be held in February and the government is moving in that direction. She said that the government is thinking about national elections. The environment advisor also said that if all political parties agree on the National Assembly elections, then that issue will be considered.
