Ameer of Islamic Movement Bangladesh, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Pir Saheb Charmonai), has said that elections under PR (proportional representation) system will not create fascism in the country and an accountable government will be established. He said this as the chief guest at a discussion and seminar titled \u2018Islamists\u2019 Unity Thought, Ulama-e-Keram, Tawheed Janatar Karaniya\u2019 at the Municipal Auditorium in Faridpur city on Wednesday (August 13) afternoon. Pir Saheb Charmonai said, \u2018A beautiful country will be possible to build through PR system. Fascism is created due to lack of accountability. Through PR system, the concentration of power will decrease and effective use of every vote will be ensured. An inclusive government will be formed by representing all parties and opinions.\u2019 Pir Saheb also said, \u2018After August 5, the cries of the relatives of the deceased have not stopped, we stand by them and the common people. A self-interested group is extorting and occupying. They must be overthrown from Bangladesh and a good environment must be created. We hate and condemn them.\u2019 The meeting was chaired by Hafez Maulana Syed Shamsul Haque, President of the National Ulama Mashayekh Aimma Parishad Faridpur District Branch, and Mufti Rezaul Karim Abrar, Secretary of the Central Committee of the National Ulama Mashayekh Aimma Parishad, delivered the main talk.
