Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy has commented that the sentiment of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has increased a lot. He made this comment at a program organized on Tuesday (August 12) to celebrate the 56th birthday of the late Arafat Rahman Koko by the Arafat Rahman Koko Sports Council. Gayeshwar said, those who want PR were never with the people. Jamaat opposed independence in 1971. Razakars, tyranny, and baksal are three words that are hated by the people. No matter how many reforms are made, Jamaat will not be good. Their sentiment has increased a lot. He said, Jamaat is enough to spoil the elections. All Jamaat in the secretariat. Where did so many Jamaats come from. Did Hasina support Jamaat? Although the Awami League could not open an office in the country, it opened an office in Kolkata. The Awami League was born in Pakistan. Gayeshwar said, Zia fought a war from within the country for 9 months. The rest were on the other side of the border. Our leader Khaleda Zia also did not flee. We hid but did not flee. We waged war like guerrillas and showed the way to the workers. Sheikh Mujib has a habit of fleeing. Sheikh Hasina also got that habit. Hasina came on the 17th and Zia died on the 30th, Hasina went to flee. It cannot be said that Hasina has no connection with Zia’s death.
