US President Donald Trump has announced that he will expel the homeless from Washington, DC. He has shown this initiative as part of an effort to curb crime. Last month, the president signed an order to arrest homeless people in the United States. As a result, he ordered the deployment of security forces on the streets of Washington last week. About 3,782 of the more than 700,000 people in Washington, DC are homeless. Most of them are in government shelters or housing, but about 800 live on the streets.
