The occupiers then claimed to have killed several Hamas members and destroyed several tunnel openings in the two areas. However, the Palestinian independence movement has not yet responded to this. Germany has suspended the export of military equipment to Israel after approving the plan to occupy Gaza City. The country’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced on Friday that the German government will not allow the export of any military equipment that could be used in the valley to Israel until further notice. In this regard, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel’s goal is not to occupy Gaza, but to free the valley from Hamas and create an opportunity to form a peaceful government there. Meanwhile, the Palestinian ambassador to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, opposed the move to occupy the valley. He said, “Enough is enough. The people of Gaza do not want war. They do not want massacres, and they do not want genocide.” On the other hand, on Friday, former Hamas hostages and family members of those still held in captivity protested near the residence of the Israeli Defense Minister. They demanded that the war be stopped immediately in addition to the return of the hostages.
