The United States has imposed the largest economic sanctions on Iran since 2018. In this round, Washington has imposed restrictions on more than a hundred individuals, institutions and ships related to the country’s shipping sector. According to Reuters news agency. The US Treasury Department announced the sanctions on Wednesday (July 30). Under this, restrictions have been imposed on more than fifty ships. Most of which are oil and cargo ships. It is claimed that Iran and Russia used this network to export oil and petroleum products.
