National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam said, even if Sheikh Hasina is hanged 10 times, her crimes will not diminish. The people of Bangladesh will never forgive Sheikh Hasina. They will never forgive the Awami League. They will never forgive any kind of refined Awami League. He said these things at a road meeting organized by the NCP on the occasion of the month-long July march at the Bypail intersection in Ashulia, Savar around 10 pm today, Wednesday. Nahid Islam said, ‘Savar-Ashulia was a hotspot during the mass uprising. On this side, Narayanganj, Jatrabari, on this side, Savar-Ashulia, on that side, Gazipur, Tongi. Dhaka was safe because you protested. The people of Dhaka dared to take to the streets. During this Savar-Ashulia mass uprising, we know how brutally torture was carried out, how shooting was carried out, our brothers were martyred. Martyr Sajal was burned to death in Ashulia. This is exactly how the fascist government’s friends carried out oppression throughout Bangladesh.’ Stating that leadership will be formed from the five upazilas of Dhaka district in the future, Nahid Islam said, ‘These upazilas have been victims of discrimination and deprivation for a long time. We think that these five upazilas have a lot of potential. It is possible to develop industrial zones. There is a workers’ zone in Savar too. But the workers formed the movement for various reasons. Because, the workers are not paid fair wages. These workers gave strength to our mass uprising. They stood in front of bullets on the road. We want to fight for the fair wages of those workers. We want to develop the entire Dhaka district including Savar-Ashulia as a tax-free district. We want to build a terror-free district. We want to build a corruption-free district.\u2019 Today was the last day of NCP\u2019s \u2018July March to Build the Nation\u2019 on the occasion of the anniversary of the July Uprising. The program ended with a road meeting at Bypail intersection in Savar. On July 1, NCP started the month-long march by visiting the grave of martyr Abu Sayeed in the anti-discrimination student movement in Babanpur Jafarpara village of Pirganj, Rangpur. Recounting the experience of the 30-day July March on the roads and outskirts of Bangladesh, NCP convener Nahid Islam said, \u2018There have been various conspiracies against us, we have been obstructed in various ways. Out of jealousy over the flow of people that has come to our march, propaganda has been spread against us. We have been obstructed and attacked at various places. But we have not stopped, this flow of people could not be stopped, the march could not be stopped.
