A cleanliness program was conducted to prevent dengue on the campus of University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) today, July 24, 2025, Thursday, at 09:00 AM. Currently, the outbreak of dengue fever has increased at an alarming rate across the country including Dhaka. In continuation of the regular cleanliness program on the university campus to prevent dengue and prevent its spread, this initiative has been taken to reduce the risk of dengue spread by keeping the university campus and surrounding areas clean, removing stagnant water and cleaning garbage. Under the leadership of the Proctor of the university, Mr. Md. Tariqul Islam, the teachers, students, officers and employees of the university actively participated in this program.
