Home Affairs Advisor Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that steps are being taken to send the case of the brutal murder of a scrap metal trader named Md. Sohag (39) in front of Mitford Hospital in Old Dhaka to a speedy trial tribunal. He made this known at a briefing after the meeting of the Law and Order Committee at the Secretariat on Sunday (July 13) afternoon. The Home Affairs Advisor said that the incident of the murder of a businessman in Mitford is very sad. So far, 7 people have been arrested in this incident. Steps are being taken to try this murder in a speedy trial tribunal. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury also made it clear that no one will be spared in this murder case due to political or any other identity.
