BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that BNP is hopeful that the interim government will organize elections in February. The country will move forward on the right path only through elections. He told reporters after performing the Ziarat at Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) Shrine on Monday (July 7) morning. BNP Secretary General UK will join a prayer meeting for the recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the good health of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman at the initiative of BNP President and Advisor to BNP Chairperson MA Malik.
