BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that journalist and writer Ehsan Mahmud is being lied to. I personally made arrangements for him to flee the country when he faced various tortures from the Awami fascist government. At that time, Sweden-based news agency Netra News gave Ehsan Mahmud a job and guaranteed his security, so he did not have to emigrate.\u2019<\/p>\n
Mirza Fakhrul said, \u2018Even before the July-August movement, Ehsan Mahmud was involved in the democratic struggle, was present on the streets, and was also the initiator of organizing meetings and seminars. Ehsan Mahmud was vocal in the anti-dictatorship movement in July-August, writing and on the streets.
