The government has withdrawn from the decision to celebrate New Bangladesh Day on August 8. However, the advisory council has decided to celebrate \u2018Mass Uprising Day\u2019 on August 5 and \u2018July Martyr\u2019s Day\u2019 on July 16. These decisions were made at a meeting of the advisory council at the office of the chief advisor in Tejgaon in the capital on Sunday (June 29).<\/p>\n
Earlier, on Wednesday (June 25), a separate circular was issued by the Cabinet Division declaring August 8 as New Bangladesh Day and July 16 as Shaheed Abu Sayeed Day.<\/p>\n
In this, all the ministries, divisions and organizations concerned were requested to observe these two days properly every year.
