BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that attempts are being made to blame the misdeeds of a local Awami League leader on BNP in connection with the rape incident in Muradnagar, Comilla. Stating that the fascist allies are systematically capitalizing on various events in the country to spread propaganda against the government and BNP, Rizvi demanded exemplary trial of those responsible.<\/p>\n
He said this after a meeting with the leaders of the subcommittee formed to mark the anniversary of the mass uprising, mourning and victory on Sunday (June 29). He said that the fascist allies are systematically capitalizing on various events in the country to spread propaganda against the government and BNP.<\/p>\n
Rizvi demanded exemplary trial of those responsible for the incident. He said that on July 1, the families of martyrs, families of victims of disappearances and murders and leaders of like-minded political parties will be present at the China Friendship Conference Center. Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will be involved in the program. He also said that it is not a matter of consideration that BNP must come to power, but will implement the dreams of martyrs after coming to power.
