According to a report by the Israeli media outlet Jerusalem Post, in a televised speech on Wednesday (June 25), the commandos jointly with the air force and Mossad carried out covert operations on Iranian soil during the war.<\/p>\n
According to the Israeli army chief, “We gained full control of Iranian airspace and every place we wanted. This was possible thanks to the joint efforts and tactics of our air force and commandos on the ground.” He said, “Our forces carried out covert operations in the heart of enemy territory, ensuring the environment for operations.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Iranian authorities said that despite the ceasefire, Israeli spies continued to be active inside Iran. In addition to warning the countrymen about this, a counter-offensive has also been launched to catch the spies. Al Jazeera reported this news, citing the Iranian news agency Fars News.<\/p>\n
A ceasefire between Israel and Iran took effect last Tuesday (June 24). This marked an apparent end to the 12-day bloody conflict.
