The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned Iran’s retaliatory missile attack on the Al-Udeid US military base in Qatar.<\/p>\n
The country’s state news agency WAM said in a statement that the Emirates considers the attack by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on Qatar’s sovereignty and airspace a direct violation of international law and the UN Charter.<\/p>\n
The statement also said that the Emirates strongly opposes any attack that threatens Qatar and regional security.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have also reacted strongly to the Iranian attack.<\/p>\n
The Al-Udeid base is one of the most important US military bases in Qatar, where US and Qatari troops are jointly stationed.<\/p>\n
