They made this announcement after a sit-in program at Shahbagh intersection on Monday (June 23). Despite the announcement of a ‘Long March to Jamuna’ program on that day, the protesters gathered at Shahbagh intersection around noon and started chanting slogans. When the police stopped them, they took out a march there. This stopped traffic in the area.<\/p>\n
