The Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) applied to the Election Commission (EC) on Sunday (June 22) to get registered as a political party. After applying, the party has asked for one of the symbols of a leaf, a mobile phone and a pen.<\/p>\n
The party representatives gave this information while talking to the media at the Commission Secretariat after applying.<\/p>\n
The EC issued a public notice on March 10 for political parties interested in getting registered ahead of the 13th National Parliament elections. The deadline for applications was April 20.
