The USA has finally launched an attack on Iran. Following the attack, law enforcement agencies in the United States are closely monitoring the situation after the US airstrikes on Iran on Saturday (June 22) and are following intelligence to identify any potential threats inside the country. In a report, US media outlet CNN News reported this information.<\/p>\n
Homeland Security, the FBI and other federal, state and local agencies are monitoring any response from Iran or its allies.<\/p>\n
In addition, New York City and Washington DC police are sharing intelligence with federal partners and have increased security around religious institutions.<\/p>\n
Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem said, “We will work tirelessly to protect the American homeland.”<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Washington DC police said that although there is no known threat in the capital, they are ensuring the safety of residents, businesses and tourists.<\/p>\n
Security has been increased in the past few weeks at important sites such as the White House, the Pentagon and the Israeli embassy. New York City Police have deployed additional security at religious, cultural and diplomatic sites.<\/p>\n
Security officials warned before the attacks in Iran that the threat level from Iran could increase at any time. Experts fear that Iran could retaliate through its proxies rather than directly attacking.<\/p>\n
