No matter how independent the EC is, elections are not possible without the government’s cooperation, said Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin.<\/p>\n
He said this in response to questions from journalists after the inauguration of a training program on election laws and rules at the Election Training Institute on Saturday (June 21) morning.<\/p>\n
The CEC said that when the time comes, the election issues will be discussed with the government. Elections are not possible without the government.<\/p>\n
Stating that the commission is in touch with the government, the CEC said that the government will have an important role in organizing the elections.
