Another flight disruption in India has forced an emergency landing. An Air India AI180 flight en route from San Francisco to Mumbai via Kolkata had to make an emergency landing due to a technical fault in the engine.<\/p>\n
The plane made an emergency landing at Kolkata Airport at 12:45 am on Monday (June 16). During the landing, a technical fault was detected in the plane’s left engine.<\/p>\n
It is to be noted that the plane was scheduled to depart for Mumbai at 2 am. As the mechanical fault was not repaired, the plane was kept at Bay 77. At this time, the passengers were taken off the plane and brought to the lounge to be seated.<\/p>\n
Airport sources said that the plane will depart for Mumbai after the technical fault is repaired. However, due to the long waiting time of the passengers, many people were delayed in reaching their destinations and carrying out urgent work. Many passengers also complained that they were greatly affected as a result.<\/p>\n
