A teenage girl was allegedly raped in a moving bus on her way home from Dhaka. The bus driver has been arrested.<\/p>\n
On Sunday night, the police and the army rescued the victim from the Salamatpur area of \u200b\u200bthe Nabiganj-Aushkandi road in Habiganj.<\/p>\n
The police said that the victim worked in a garment factory in Dhaka. She was returning home by bus from the capital. She fell asleep on the way and did not get off at her destination and went to Sylhet. From there, she boarded a bus named ‘Ma Enterprise’ to go to Habiganj. After crossing the Sherpur area, when the other passengers of the bus got off, the bus helper Liton Mia and the driver Sabbir took turns torturing the teenager, who was alone.<\/p>\n
Hearing the teenager’s screams, the people around informed the police and the army. Later, a patrol team with the help of locals in the Salamatpur area stopped the bus and rescued the victim.
