The Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said that Japan will invest heavily in the Matarbari project. In addition, there was positive talk about the country’s businessmen investing in Bangladesh. In addition, there was talk of sending 100,000 workers to the country annually.<\/p>\n
He said that Japan will cooperate in the master plan for Matarbari. Japan will provide a large share of the $29 million. In addition, the purpose of the visit was to increase the interest of Japanese investors, which was also largely successful. Talks were held with Japan’s main investment agency-Jetpo. They gave a positive response to the investment.<\/p>\n
