Heavy rain has been falling since dawn in the port city of Chittagong. This has led to waterlogging in several areas of the city.<\/p>\n
Torrential rains began in the early hours of Sunday (June 1). This has submerged several low-lying areas including Chawkbazar, Baklia, Gate No. 2, Muradpur, Agrabad in the city.<\/p>\n
Water has entered various business establishments and homes from the roads due to the continuous rain. However, office-goers have suffered the most. They have to face public transport crisis to return to work after the weekend.<\/p>\n
In addition, the suffering of working people has also increased due to rain and waterlogging. The city residents are angry that the projects taken to resolve waterlogging have not yielded results.
