The Hajj formalities of 1446 Hijri will begin in a few days. Most of the Bangladeshi pilgrims have already reached Saudi Arabia. Of these pilgrims, 15 have already died. Of these, 14 are men and one is a woman. Nine died in Mecca and six in Medina.<\/p>\n
This information was revealed in the death news of the Hajj Management Portal of the Ministry of Religion on Saturday (May 31).<\/p>\n
According to the portal, the first person to die while performing Hajj this year was Md. Khalilur Rahman (70) of Pansha in Rajbari on April 29. Then Md. Fariduzzaman (57) of Bajitpur in Kishoreganj died on May 2, Al Hamida Banu (58) of Panchagarh Sadar died on May 5, and Md. Shahjahan Kabir (60) and Hafez Uddin (73) of Bakshiganj, Jamalpur died on May 9 and Boyez Uddin (72) of Nilphamari Sadar died on May 10.<\/p>\n
In addition, Md. Ahidur Rahman (72) of Sandwip, Chittagong died on May 14, Md. Joynal Hossain (61) of Gazipur Sadar died on May 17, A. Hannan Molla (63) of Matlab, Chandpur died on May 19, Md. Saheb Uddin (69) of Pirganj, Rangpur died on May 24, Md. Bashir Uddin (74) of Kachuar, Chandpur died on May 25 and Md. Shahadat Hossain Pathan (61) of Faridganj, Chandpur died on May 27.<\/p>\n
The last three people died on May 29. They are Md. of Panchbibi, Joypurhat. Mostafizur Rahman (53), Mozlem Hawlader (63) of Madaripur Sadar and Abul Kalam Azad (62) of Tongi Purba of Gazipur.<\/p>\n
According to the law of Saudi Arabia, if a person dies while performing Hajj, his body is buried in Saudi Arabia. The body is not allowed to be taken to his own country. Even any objection from the family is not accepted.<\/p>\n
