Two passengers were killed in a head-on collision between a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw and a microbus in Anwara Upazila of Chittagong. Two others were injured.<\/p>\n
The accident occurred at around 8:30 am on Saturday (May 31) in the Mazar Gate area of \u200b\u200bthe Anwara-Baanshkhali PAB road.<\/p>\n
The identities of the deceased are not yet known. However, the injured include Alamgir (28) and Brishn Das (29) of Banshkhali Upazila.<\/p>\n
Eyewitnesses said that when a CNG auto-rickshaw coming from Chambal in Banshkhali towards Chittagong city reached the Mazar Gate area, it collided head-on with a microbus coming from the opposite direction. As a result, the auto-rickshaw was twisted and two passengers died on the spot.<\/p>\n
Dr. Mahatab Uddin Chowdhury, Health and Family Planning Officer of Anwara Upazila Health Complex, said, \u201cThe two seriously injured have been sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital after receiving primary treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
