BNP standing committee member Dr. Moin Khan has expressed hope that power will be handed over to the elected through fair elections.<\/p>\n
He made these comments while participating in a youth rally organized by three BNP affiliates in the capital, Paltan, on Wednesday (May 28).<\/p>\n
Moin Khan said, “We are supporting the government, we will. I hope they will be successful, they will hand over power to the elected representatives and depart with dignity.”<\/p>\n
BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed demanded that elections be held by December at the rally.<\/p>\n
He said, “BNP has asked for a roadmap by December. If seeking democracy is a crime, BNP will do it repeatedly. BNP hopes that the current government will establish the rule of law, this government will take the oath of Ishraq, and arrange for early elections.”<\/p>\n
At that time, referring to Sheikh Hasina as a political enemy, Salahuddin further said, BNP wants a state system and constitution so that tyranny does not rise again. And the only political enemy of the country is Sheikh Hasina.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the entire area was filled with slogans from the leaders and activists since the morning. Although it was supposed to start at 2 pm, the rally venue was filled to the brim before that. This turned the youth rally into a grand gathering.<\/p>\n
It was seen on the spot that the road from Mouchak in the capital to Shantinagar, from Kakrail to Nayapaltan, from Matsya Bhaban to Kakrail Mosque to Nayapaltan, from Paltan to Scout Bhaban to Nayapaltan, from Shahjahanpur bus stand to Fakirapul intersection to Nayapaltan turned into a sea of \u200b\u200bpeople with the march of BNP leaders and activists.<\/p>\n
In addition to the districts of Dhaka division, leaders and activists of Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal from different parts of the country joined the rally. Today’s rally is mainly organized in Dhaka, Sylhet, Faridpur and Mymensingh.<\/p>\n
The young leaders and activists who came to the rally said that they are determined to bring back democratic practices in the country through exercising their voting rights. They also called for an end to the evasion of the election roadmap.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
