She has also been fined Tk 5 lakh.<\/p>\n<p>The Dhaka Special Judge&#8217;s Court announced the verdict on Sunday (May 25). However, the other four accused in the case were acquitted.<\/p>\n<p>Shamima Noor Papia and her husband Mofizur Rahman were arrested from Dhaka&#8217;s Shahjalal International Airport in February 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation into the case revealed that a criminal gang was formed through politics and influence.
